Welcome to the website of award winning artist Grahame Booth, one of Northern Ireland’s most popular watercolour painters.  Painting exclusively in watercolour he tutors his own painting holiday workshops both in Northern Ireland and further afield. He is a regular demonstrator for Art Societies in Ulster and is a visiting tutor at Art Club and Art Centre workshops all over Ireland. Grahame is a past president of the Ulster Watercolour Society and a full elected member of the Arts Society of Ulster. Over the last few years, he has been awarded six major exhibition prizes by these societies.

You are very welcome to browse the site. As well as details of watercolour workshops, there is an online gallery, demonstrations, and an online shop where equipment and pictures may be purchased.

November 2008

A busy month, finalising next year’s programme of workshops and courses. This month sees the end of the 2008 programme. It was a good year overall although the summer weather was variable to say the least. Oh well - such are the delights of painting in Ireland, but lets hope that 2009 is better. See the workshops section for all the details.

The new site will be updated often so please visit regularly. I have just returned from a residency in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan. This is a wonderful centre for all types of artists and I’ll have some of the paintings I worked on there on the website soon
